Crippolino’s Tale — April 2026

Today, it’s just you and Crippolino inside The Crypt. Quiet. As always.

With a tiny rag in his hands, he’s dusting the room. Although, honestly..

He seems to raise more dust than he actually removes. The dust drifts slowly through the air, dancing in the light.

You notice a wooden board attached to the wall, held by two screws. One of them is almost falling out. You had never noticed it before.

Inside The Crypt, silence is never truly silent.

If you stay still and close your eyes, you can hear the strangest things. Something moving.

You can’t see it… But you can feel it.

While you stand there doing nothing, Crippolino suddenly stops. He looks at you.

Then he quickly turns toward the other side of the room. As if something had caught his attention. Crippolino tilts his head and stays perfectly still. Like he’s trying to understand something.

And right in that moment…

Bzzz

Suddenly, he takes off. He runs awkwardly with his tiny crooked steps between boxes, books, and old things scattered around The Crypt. You watch him. You hadn’t heard anything. Then… Bzzzzzzz Now you hear it too. A faint buzzing sound, coming exactly from the place Crippolino is running toward. What do you do?
